About The Position

Evolve Treatment Centers provides cutting-edge residential and outpatient treatment to adolescents struggling with mental health and substance use disorders. Our La Mesa team is expanding, and we’re seeking a compassionate and experienced LVN to join our dedicated clinical staff. Requirements

Valid California LVN or LPT License
Current CPR/BLS certification
Minimum 1 year of nursing experience (Psych or chemical dependency experience preferred)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Calm, compassionate demeanor in high-stress situations
Strong organizational skills, initiative, and ability to maintain professional boundaries
Team-oriented mindset with the ability to make independent decisions when needed
Willing to cover our 2 locations in La Mesa

Nice To Haves

Psych or chemical dependency experience preferred

Responsibilities

Deliver direct patient care, monitor vital signs, and assess changes in mental or physical status
Administer medications and maintain accurate documentation (including transcribing M.D. orders)
Participate in treatment team planning and professional staff meetings
Educate patients and families on medications, hygiene, and wellness
Call in and pick up medications from the pharmacy as needed
Lead in-service training for staff on medications, documentation, and safety
Maintain a safe, clean work environment and comply with health/safety protocols
Communicate effectively with staff and weekend nurses to ensure continuity of care
