About The Position

Position: LVN / LPN – Medical Surgical (MS/Tele) Specialty: Medical Surgical / Telemetry Shift: Night Shift – 4x12 Hours (19:00 – 07:00) Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Desired Location: Rochester, New York Scheduling & Work Requirements Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend Holiday Requirement: Must be available to work every other holiday, if needed Charting System: EPIC experience required Call-Off Policy: Facility may cancel up to three shifts during the 13-week contract Licensure & Certifications Active New York State LPN License (required; compact license not accepted) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Clinical Skills & Experience Must be able to manage own patient assignment with RN support Recent acute care experience (within the last 2 years required) Required Skills Include: Vital signs, pain assessment, intake & output monitoring Isolation precautions and physical restraints Specimen labeling and collection Oxygen administration via nasal cannula Feeding tube management Telemetry monitoring and 12-lead EKG Medication administration (oral, IM, SQ, NG/G-tube, eye/ear drops) IV therapy using pumps Blood glucose monitoring Basic wound care (simple dressings, JP/Hemovac drains) Foley catheter insertion (male/female) Hygiene care (bathing, oral care) Communication of patient status changes to RN/MD For more details reach at [email protected] or Call / Text at 732 791 4807 - EXT 4807 .

Requirements

  • Active New York State LPN License (required; compact license not accepted)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Recent acute care experience (within the last 2 years required)
  • EPIC experience required
