About The Position

City View Post Acute is looking for a dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to serve as an Infection Control Nurse. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the health and safety of residents by managing our infection control program in compliance with current regulations and guidelines. Requirements

  • Current, unencumbered active license to practice as an LVN in the state of California.
  • Current CPR certification is required.

Nice To Haves

  • APIC certification in infection control is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, develop, implement, and evaluate the infection control program according to CDC, OSHA, and local regulations.
  • Maintain written infection control materials and make recommendations to the Administrator regarding program effectiveness.
  • Conduct rounds to monitor infection control practices and ensure proper sanitation procedures are being followed.
