Requirements

• Bilingual in Spanish
• LVN or RN License
• BLS Certification
• High school diploma or GED
• 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting
• Strong data entry and computer skills
• Effective communication skills

Responsibilities

• Respond to patient messages promptly, adhering to standard workflows.
• Act as the first reviewer for all assigned care team messages.
• Carry out fundamental scheduling tasks including appointments for the same and next day, as well as lab rechecks.
• Take charge of referrals and pre-authorizations as per clinic workflow.
• Fill out necessary paperwork such as Family and Medical Leave Act documents and home health records.
• Implement standing delegated orders efficiently.
• Handle pending/plan orders and associated diagnostic codes.
• Ensure clear and quick documentation in the electronic medical record.
• Record external test results in the electronic medical record.
• Make patient calls and notifications, ensuring accurate relaying of clinical information/education from provider to patient.
