This is a benefited, full-time position (80 hours per pay period) with an 8-hour day shift schedule located at our Scripps Coastal Medical Center in Carlsbad. You will educate patients and families and document patient interactions. In this position, you will practice infection control and contribute to the team as necessary to ensure quality patient care within own scope of practice.

Requirements

Current California LVN license
American Heart Association BLS for Health Care Provider
Must be able to speak, read, write, and follow instructions in English.
Excellent interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

One year of outpatient experience as LVN or LPN
Experience in an outpatient setting

Responsibilities

Patient assessments and care tasks, including emergency procedures and medication administration as appropriate.
Educate patients and families and document patient interactions.
Practice infection control
Contribute to the team as necessary to ensure quality patient care within own scope of practice.
