About The Position

Choice Builders is hiring a Luxury Custom Home Superintendent who takes pride in quality, communicates clearly, and thrives in complex custom builds. This is a custom superintendent role, not production. You will manage 2-4 luxury custom homes at a time, including homes in Brian Head's high-altitude environment. These projects include unique details, engineered designs, and premium finishes. The work requires: Strong plan interpretation Attention to craftsmanship Clear communication with homeowners and designers Daily coordination with trade partners and selections Proactive problem-solving Ownership of safety, quality, and schedule Comfort working in mountain conditions: snow, access challenges, steep topography If you enjoy building one-of-a-kind homes and take pride in detailed, high-quality work, this is an excellent fit.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of superintendent or project lead experience in custom or high-end residential construction
  • Strong ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and design plan sets
  • Experience managing quality-driven trade partners
  • Excellent communication skills with homeowners, designers, and project teams
  • High attention to detail and craftsmanship standards
  • Ability to work safely and effectively in mountain and winter environments (snow, slope, cold-weather sequencing)
  • Tech-competent with smartphones, tablets, email, spreadsheets, and construction apps (we use Microsoft Office and Buildertrend)

Responsibilities

  • Run the field with ownership and consistency, focusing on schedule, quality, and trade coordination
  • Oversee all on-site activities from foundation to finish
  • Coordinate trade partners and ensure work meets plans, specifications, and luxury-level craftsmanship
  • Review architectural and structural plans; anticipate and resolve design conflicts before they become issues
  • Maintain the project schedule and communicate milestones to clients and internal teams
  • Partner closely with the Project Manager and Selections Manager to verify finishes, fixtures, options, and specifications
  • Work closely with a dedicated Project Administrator for permits, invoicing, purchasing, and documentation
  • Maintain clean, safe, organized job sites and uphold site standards
  • Complete accurate daily logs, photos, and field documentation
  • Hold trade partners accountable to quality, timelines, and professionalism
  • Perform final completion, punch-out, and warranty prep with exceptional attention to detail
  • Manage the unique challenges of mountain construction, including weather, access, staging, and safety in high-altitude conditions
