As a Sales Representative at Clayton Homes, you will play a pivotal role in transforming the lives of our customers by guiding them through the home buying process. Your primary responsibility will be to create a world-class home buying experience, assisting customers in identifying their ideal floor plans, selecting options, and coordinating the construction process. This position offers a unique opportunity to control your own salary through a base salary of $40,000 plus a lucrative commission plan, providing unlimited career and earning potential. We are looking for individuals who embody the spirit of a Clayton Ambassador, maintaining a high level of integrity throughout the sales process while protecting the Clayton Homes brand. You will be expected to be a constant learner, developing expertise in finance, mortgage concepts, product knowledge, sales acumen, and local market trends. Customer follow-up is crucial, and you will maintain customer files and provide timely follow-up with prospective buyers using the company's CRM system. In addition to customer interaction, you will assist your manager in merchandising by selecting inventory, decorating models, and maintaining the appearance of homes. Personal prospecting is also a key responsibility, where you will develop and execute a strategic sales and marketing plan to increase traffic to the home center. You will present display homes to potential buyers, demonstrating features and benefits to create added value, and set appointments for home center visits by converting ad calls and web leads. Participation in all sales meetings, training opportunities, and company-sponsored functions is expected, as is a team-oriented approach, where you will collaborate with colleagues and assist with miscellaneous duties as required.
