About The Position

We are seeking a highly experienced Sr. Lustre Technical staff member for our new internal Lustre team.Responsible for delivering an enterprise class NetApp software product. Software Engineer thrives as part of a high-performance team tasked with finding creative solutions to the most profound data challenges customers face. 

Requirements

• 5 plus years of Lustre development experience
• Recognized expertise within the Lustre community
• Proven track record in building and leading technical teams
• Ability to recruit Lustre developers and other technical resources from the Lustre community
• Experience in commercializing file products from inception to completion
• This role is not suited for a researcher.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with our Product Marketing team to define and prioritize feature and solution requirements.
• Write concise technical papers (1-3 pages) on topics such as feature value definition or competitive analysis.
• The candidate should be able to present technical concepts and industry updates to our senior leadership.
