About The Position

The role of the Lunchroom Supervisor is to monitor the daily routines of students both eating lunch and/or at recess.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily routines of the cafeteria and/or playground including indoor and outdoor environments
• Responsible for reporting any issues with the maintenance of playground equipment
• Notify teachers/administration of any challenging behaviors of students
• Supports the social/emotional needs of students and behavior plans
• Assist students with basic needs during lunch duties such as cutting food, opening packages and cleaning up spills
• Take children to the restroom or school nurse as needed
• Answer questions from students and staff
• Administer basic first-aid as needed
• Other related duties as assigned
