What You’ll Do: Bring bagged breakfast and lunches to students in their classrooms, brightening their day with your friendly presence. Interact with students of all ages and abilities, creating a supportive and caring environment. Use your awesome communication skills to interact positively with students and school staff. Follow directions from Café Supervisors or School Admin staff to keep students safe and supervised. Help keep the lunchroom tidy by sweeping floors, emptying trash bins, and wiping down tables.
Requirements
- Perform all duties, including walking, standing, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
- Proficient in English
- Must obtain and pass background check through NYSED
Nice To Haves
- Professional experience with children or in an educational setting is preferred, but not required.
- Knowledge of Spanish is a plus.
