About The Position

Are you a Lunch Server looking to work for an amazing organization by serving others and connecting with your co-workers? Immanuel Communities is seeking a Part-time Lunch Server to work at Yankee Hill Village, located at 8401 South 33rd Street, Lincoln, NE 68516. Yankee Hill Village has 47 independent living, 59 assisted living and 16 memory support apartment homes. Schedule will be 11:00am to 2:00pm three to five days a week, to include weekends and holidays, for a total of up to 15 hours a week. Must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for this position. This position will pay up to $18.31/hour (straight pay/no tips). Requirements

  • One (1) year dining room serving experience is required.
  • BLS certification (Basic Life Support) is required or willing to obtain if the company pays for training.
  • Minimum age of 18 years old is required.

Responsibilities

  • working independently as a lead within the dining room services during daytime shifts
  • Prepares tables for meals
  • refilling containers
  • clearing dishes
  • handling food safely
  • attending to residents’ needs
  • taking phone orders
  • ensuring other servers are completing tasks in a timely and appropriate manner
  • Facilitates a pleasant dining experience for the residents and guests who dine at the community
