Harbour Club - Miami Beach, FL We are currently hosting open interviews for this position on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM. No appointment necessary. Founded by industry veterans James Julius (Annabel’s, Major Food Group) and Executive Chef Michele Eposito (Forte Dei Marmi, Casa Tua), Harbour Club Miami is a premier destination for luxury dining and refined experiences. With three distinct outlets, our establishment will offer unparalleled service and an elegant atmosphere. Nikai, a private Japanese restaurant, and the Palm Room, a speakeasy-style lounge, are exclusive to our esteemed members, while our upscale Mediterranean trattoria, A'riva, welcomes all guests to enjoy its exceptional offerings. As a Captain at Harbour Club Miami, you will be a key leader in our elite dining venues. Requirements

• The right charisma to enhance the dining room atmosphere, engaging with members/guests in a manner that adds to the overall ambiance. A Captain should be able to create a warm, inviting environment while maintaining an air of sophistication.
• A deep passion for food, beverage, and delivering outstanding hospitality experiences
• Experience in fine dining or luxury hospitality
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work a minimum of 4 shifts per week
• Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, traverse stairs, and lift/carry heavy items on occasion

Responsibilities

• Supervise and Coordinate : Provide leadership and direction to the service team, ensuring seamless execution of service operations
• Service Coordination : Collaborate closely with Chef and the culinary team to ensure timely and impeccable service delivery
• Foster Member Relationships : Serve members and guests in a warm and welcoming manner, addressing them by name when possible. Learn and notate member preferences, allowing us to personalize and elevate their experiences. Provide information about the club’s offerings and events.
• Menu Expertise : Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the food & beverage menus, including origins, preparation methods, special ingredients, and allergens, providing expert recommendations
• Tableside Service : Execute refined tableside preparations, such as meat carving and flambéing
• Sommelier Duties : Collaborate with the Sommelier to curate and serve wine selections
• Training and Mentoring : Assist management in developing and mentoring staff, ensuring a well-trained and motivated team.
• Problem Resolution : Address and resolve member/guest concerns with professionalism and grace
• Mise en Place : Oversee the meticulous setup and preparation and breakdown of the dining rooms, ensuring an immaculate environment for each service.
• Professional Presentation: Lead by example in maintaining high standards of grooming and appearance, reflecting the establishment's refined image.
• Uphold Harbour Club's standards of service, professionalism, and hospitality at all times.
