About The Position
Camden Rockport Middle School Lunch/Recess Monitor Part Time - 2.5 hours/day Immediate Opening About Camden Rockport Middle School Camden Rockport Middle School, housed in a beautiful new building, serves just under 400 students in grades 5 � 8 from the towns of Camden and Rockport. CRMS has been implementing a Project Based Learning model of curriculum and instruction and values students' active engagement in the learning process. Position Summary We are looking for a Lunch/Recess Monitor available from 11:30am - 2pm for the 2025-2026 school year. Applicants must be comfortable being outside in a variety of weather throughout the year during their work shift. On-the-job training will be provided around school procedures and expectations. This position works as part of a team.
Requirements
- Background check, including fingerprinting
- Maine Department of Education CHRC Approval
- Ability to work outside in a variety of weather conditions
Responsibilities
- Ensure student safety
- Control timing and flow of student return into building after recess
- Prevent and intervene in minor behavioral issues
