About The Position

The Lunch Aide assists the School Staff with all lunch preparation, clean-up, stocking supplies, and any other related tasks/projects as assigned by the Program Director. This role is essential in ensuring that children receive their meals in a safe and organized environment, contributing to their overall well-being and development.

Requirements

• Clearances: State Police; FBI clearance; child abuse clearance; CPSL Mandated Reporter-Recognizing and Reporting Child Abuse training; any additional background checks/clearances required by state governing bodies.
• Valid driver's license and current vehicle insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Day School staff with the serving of daily lunches.
• Set drinks (i.e. milk) out for students' lunch daily.
• Set out all necessary condiments for daily lunch.
• After all lunches are finished each day, clean all tables, chairs, utensils, kitchen counters and microwave.
• Restock all required supplies and inform Office Manager when supplies need to be ordered.
• Maintain visual and auditory contact with the student at lunch times during the school day unless otherwise arranged with staff.
• Maintain written records as requested.
• Follow program policy regarding the documentation of critical incidents (such as physical injury or illness, property damage, runaway, physical interventions, etc.)
