Lumper / Tire Loader and Unloader
About The Position
A2Z Workforce Solutions is actively seeking bilingual (English/Spanish) lumpers for a large, busy tire warehouse in Union City. This is a physical role with mandatory overtime opportunities. Punctuality and reliability are must-haves for this position. In this role, you will: Load and unload tires manually Unload 1,000 tires manually daily, within a certain time frame Order picking / order selecting Attendance and punctuality are VITAL Contribute to safety culture, obey all safety policies and operating procedures Ability to repetitively lift- up to 80 pounds Work on feet for extended periods of time
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older to operate equipment
- 1 year of warehouse/logistics or relevant experience
- Ability to safely lift 50 pounds consistently and occasionally lift up to 120 pounds
- Ability to exert a pushing force of up to 50 pounds - working with barrels and industrial/agricultural tires
- Ability to work at heights of 25 feet while operating equipment and maintaining safety standards
- Abide by all Company safety policies and state and federal transportation regulations and manufacturing guidelines
- Ability to pass forklift certification
- Ability to pass a background check
- Willing to work overtime as needed
- Ability to follow instructions and safe operating procedures
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Successfully pass a pre-employment drug test
