Requirements

• Proven experience in lumber yard operations or related field.
• Excellent customer service skills and a friendly demeanor.
• Knowledge of building materials and lumber products.
• Ability to operate forklifts and other yard equipment safely.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the lumber yard, ensuring efficiency and safety.
• Manage inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers for timely deliveries.
• Lead a team of yard associates, providing training and support.
• Assist customers with product selections and provide expert advice.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with safety standards.
