About The Position
This position involves the safe operation of a forklift, maintaining a clean, organized, and safe lumber yard, and managing the loading and unloading of trucks with lumber and wood components. The associate is also responsible for keeping management informed of any delays or discrepancies.
Requirements
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions
- Ability to apply common sense understanding and carry out tasks efficiently
- Ability to follow understand and follow safety protocols
- Experience working in a team atmosphere.
- Ability to multi-task in fast paced environment
- Must take and pass drug test
- Work in outdoor / indoor conditions
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Forklift operation experience required
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience working in a lumber yard or similar is preferred
