About The Position

Perform the Lubrication Preventive Maintenance on District vehicles to prevent premature equipment failure.

Requirements

• High School graduate, or GED preferred.
• Class B CDL with proper endorsements, State School Bus Driver Certification, good driving record, pass D.O.T. physical, pre-employment drug test, and background check.
• Ability to perform preventive maintenance on district vehicles.
• Must safely drive a school bus in all weather and road conditions.
• Must have the ability to manage, communicate, and interact with students of all ages in a professional way.
• Be Able to lift 75 lbs.
• Maintain emotional control under stress.
• Frequent districtwide travel; occasional prolonged or irregular hours.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in preventive maintenance preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist with carrying out the responsibilities and duties associated with preventive maintenance in a safe and efficient district vehicle fleet.
• Manage bus riders while driving a bus.
