Lube, Tire & Inspection Auto Technician
About The Position
Victor Chevrolet is looking for an experienced Lube, Tire & Inspection Technician. Technician must be properly licensed and have the experience necessary to provide our customers with optimum service. Responsibilities Accurately perform basic vehicle services and repairs effectively and efficiently in accordance standards of operation. Vehicle Services – perform lubrications, oil changes, basic maintenance (e.g.: bulb, wiper blade and filter replacements, etc.), battery testing and installations Tire Services – perform wheel removal, balancing, patch/plug repairs, changing, mounting, and installation Perform NYS Inspections in accordance with all regulations Assist with all general shop duties, ensuring the shop is in excellent condition and maintained to standards for cleanliness Consistently perform service(s) in accordance with safety standards Understand and adhere to company policies and procedures, OSHA standards, safety and environmental codes and industry regulations including consistent use of required personal protective equipment Victor Chevrolet is an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status or any other characteristic protected by law .
Requirements
- Must have a valid New York State Driver’s License
- Requires a valid New York State Auto Inspector's License
- Post-secondary automotive training or equivalent work experience
- 1+ years of lube & tire technician experience
- Ability to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects (up to 75 pounds) as needed
- Spends 100% of work-day standing
Responsibilities
