The Lube Technician is responsible for performing lube, oil, filter, and multi-point inspections on customer vehicles while ensuring safety, quality, and customer satisfaction. This role requires integrity, attention to detail, and a commitment to supporting dealership operations and team success.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent is recommended but not required.
At least one year of experience as a technician's assistant or apprentice.
Valid driver's license with a motor vehicle record that meets company policy requirements.
Ability to work in a shop environment exposed to noise, dust, odors, chemicals, and fumes.
Capable of lifting a minimum of 100 pounds.
Ability to sit, stand, bend, reach, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers.
Occasional stooping, kneeling, or crouching required.
Vision requirements include close, distance, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
Must operate equipment and move vehicles safely.
Demonstrates ethical behavior and promotes team effectiveness.
Adheres to company standards, regulations, and pricing guidelines.
Provides excellent, efficient, and fair service.

Responsibilities

Perform lube, oil, filter changes, and multi-point inspection services accurately and efficiently.
Assess and identify any additional vehicle service needs during inspections.
Maintain high-quality service standards and communicate any concerns to management promptly.
Ensure customer vehicles are clean and cared for during servicing.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with OSHA and EPA standards.
Support other employees by sharing knowledge and promoting teamwork.
Demonstrate professionalism, positive attitude, and ethical behavior at all times.
Follow all dealership policies and management requests.
