About The Position

As a Lube Technician, you’ll be responsible for performing essential vehicle maintenance services and delivering great customer service. You’ll rotate between upper bay, lower bay, greeter, and cashier duties — keeping the role active, varied, and engaging.

Requirements

• Skills & Abilities
• Ability to read and write English
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to follow instructions and provide great customer service
• Mobility required: bending, stretching, climbing stairs, reaching overhead (up to 4 ft)
• Must be able to work in a garage environment (heat, cold, equipment noise)
• Experience
• Previous automotive or lube tech experience is helpful, but not required
• Must complete the company’s Lube Technician Training Program
• Tools & Equipment
• Experience or willingness to learn: Oil & grease guns Differential pump Transmission fluid exchange machine Standard shop tools
• Other Requirements
• Dependable, safety‑minded, and professional
• Clean, proper uniform and good hygiene

Responsibilities

• Vehicle Service & Maintenance
• Check and change fluids and filters
• Add or exchange engine oil, transmission fluid, differential fluid, and coolant
• Air tires and perform basic safety checks
• Operate shop equipment (oil guns, grease guns, pumps, etc.)
• Input customer and service information into the computer system
• Customer Service
• Greet customers and explain recommended services
• Answer questions clearly and professionally
• Accept payment for services and process transactions
• Provide prompt, courteous, and accurate service
• Shop Operations
• Maintain clean work areas, restrooms, grounds, and customer spaces
• Sweep, mop, empty trash, and maintain overall shop cleanliness
• Follow all safety rules and regulations
• Complete assigned tasks promptly and accurately
• Perform other related duties as assigned
