About The Position

This position is accountable for providing maintenance support to field operations for Scott Bridge Company, Inc. Incumbents are responsible for performing oil changes, lubrication and fluid services on heavy equipment, light equipment, trucks and light vehicles.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Basic mechanical knowledge of vehicles or heavy equipment
Ability to follow maintenance schedules and manufacturer specifications
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to travel out of town for a week at a time
Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred but not required)
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in outdoor conditions
Ability to safely operate heavy equipment

Responsibilities

Oil changes, lubrication and fluid services for equipment and vehicles
Grease all fittings per manufacturer and company maintenance schedules
Check and top off fluids (engine oil, hydraulic oil, coolant, transmission, differential, etc.)
Replace oil, fuel, air, and hydraulic filters
Inspect equipment for leaks, worn components, loose fittings, or other visible issues
Accurately document all maintenance performed, hours/miles, and materials used
Report mechanical concerns or safety issues to supervisors on jobs or mechanics
Maintain a clean and organized service area
Safely operate service trucks, pumps, and lubrication equipment
Follow all company safety policies and procedures
Assist mechanics as needed with basic maintenance tasks
