Requirements

  • Must have working knowledge of the following topics: using lubrication tools, hand / power tools, basic mathematics, Preventive/Predictive maintenance.
  • Must have or be able to obtain basic computer skills.
  • Possess a high school degree or an approved GED.

Nice To Haves

  • MLT-1 (Machinery Lubrication Technician, Level 1) certification preferred but not required.
  • One-year experience in lubrication preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Team member must be able to work in a team oriented and safety conscious environment.
  • Safety expectations include, but are not limited to, compliance with all company safety guidelines and procedures.
  • Perform assigned tasks list to include, but not limited to, Lubricating equipment, performing preventive maintenance and contamination prevention on all equipment.
  • Lubrication techniques and preventive maintenance to be performed in conformance with established standards set forth by the company.
  • Provide work order feedback on discrepancies noted in service delivery.
  • Keep all areas and machines clean of leaked or spilled lubricants.
  • Must be able to use hand tools on a daily basis such as power tools (hand grinders, saws, impact wrenches, drill press and additional tools assigned).
  • Must be able to operate and have knowledge of simple and complex heavy industrial equipment such as forklifts, scissors lifts, and basket trucks.
  • Works from elevated areas such as ladders, platforms, scaffolding, etc. utilizing fall protection equipment as necessary to complete tasks.
  • Must have the flexibility to work all shifts including holiday and weekends as demanded by the job.
  • Employee will perform any and all other duties that are assigned by the responsible supervisor.
