About The Position

Jeff Wyler Toyota of Springfield is "Now Hiring" Lube Technicians! A Toyota Lube Technician performs basic vehicle maintenance services to ensure customer vehicles are safe, reliable, and operating at peak performance. This is an entry-level automotive service position with opportunities for training and advancement within Toyota service departments.

Requirements

Automotive and engine repair experience or auto mechanic training preferred.
Hold a valid driver’s license.
Ability to maintain a professional appearance and provide friendly customer service.
Must read, interpret, and transcribe data to maintain accurate records.
Perform routine maintenance and other tasks in a fast-paced environment.
May lift objects that weigh as much as 50 lbs.
Experience as a lube technician or prepared to do on-the-job training.
Understanding of automotive air-conditioning systems.
Ability to use diagnostic equipment.
Good hand-eye coordination.
All applicants must demonstrate the ability to pass pre-employment testing, including a background check, MVR, and drug screening.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Perform oil and filter changes on Toyota vehicles
Rotate tires and check tire pressure
Inspect and top off fluids (engine oil, coolant, brake, transmission, washer fluid)
Replace air filters and wiper blades
Conduct multi-point vehicle inspections
Identify and report potential safety or mechanical issues to service advisors or technicians
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Follow Toyota service standards and safety procedures
