About The Position

The Lube Technician at Jenkins Kia of Gainesville is responsible for servicing vehicles under the guidance of the Service Manager or Team Leader. This role involves checking and maintaining various vehicle fluids and components to ensure optimal performance and safety. The technician will also conduct pre-delivery services on vehicles to guarantee they are in excellent working order before delivery to customers. The position requires a strong understanding of vehicle maintenance and the ability to adapt to new technologies in the automotive industry.

Requirements

• Unrestricted driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Minimum of one year vehicle-servicing experience.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Effective communication skills.

• Interest in vehicle maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Check and maintain all vehicle fluids and maintenance-related parts.
• Top-off or replace fluids or filters/parts as required.
• Perform routine service inspections and change engine oil/filter.
• Lubricate chassis and other major components.
• Drive vehicles in and around the premises as needed.
• Adapt to rapidly changing technologies in the automotive industry.
• Conduct pre-delivery service on new and pre-owned vehicles.
