About The Position
Volkswagen of Farmington Hills, part of the Lithia & Driveway family, is seeking a skilled Lube Technician/Service Tech C to join their dynamic and customer-focused service team. This role is crucial for reconditioning and preparing pre-owned vehicles for resale. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing vehicles efficiently and accurately to meet high-quality standards, ensuring every customer drives away with confidence.
Requirements
- Prior experience in automotive service
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Team-oriented mindset with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent (must be 18 or older)
Nice To Haves
- Used vehicle or reconditioning experience
- ASE or manufacturer certifications
Responsibilities
- Perform inspections and safety checks on incoming pre-owned inventory
- Diagnose and repair used vehicles according to manufacturer and dealership standards
- Road-test vehicles to verify repairs and overall performance
- Document all work performed accurately in service records
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace and follow all safety protocols
- Provide your own basic set of automotive tools
