About The Position

The Lube Technician at Premium Velocity Automotive dba Jiffy Lube is responsible for providing automotive services to ensure customer satisfaction and vehicle safety. This entry-level position does not require prior automotive experience, as comprehensive training will be provided. The role involves working in a team-oriented environment, performing various automotive maintenance tasks, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide impartial recommendations tailored to guest's needs based on manufacturer recommendations and technicians' findings.
• Work efficiently to service customers in a timely manner, prioritizing safety.
• Vacuum and sanitize the interior of vehicles and clean windshields upon vehicle entry.
• Perform preventative maintenance such as oil and filter changes, refill fluid levels, and inspect and replace lights, wiper blades, brakes, and tires following J Team Service Standards (JTSS).
• Conduct automotive maintenance on engines, transmissions, axles, steering and suspension, brakes, electrical systems, heating/air conditioning, tires, batteries, and spark plugs.
• Perform multi-point inspections of vehicles to ensure compliance with emission standards and maintain detailed records of inspections.
• Participate in regular on-site and e-learning training, maintaining compliance with Jiffy Lube safety requirements, OSHA, and state regulations.
• Engage in marketing events and promotions.
• Maintain customer, inventory, and service records and assist in inventory stocking.
• Perform housekeeping and minor building maintenance tasks.
• Promote customer loyalty by ensuring quality workmanship, reviewing services with guests, confirming satisfaction, and encouraging return visits.
