About The Position

The Lube Technician is responsible for providing Guest service through daily interactions while completing various vehicle maintenance services such as oil changes, fluid checks, tire rotations, and other preventive maintenance procedures to ensure vehicles run efficiently and safely.

  • Irregular hours and weekends will be required according to the needs of the business.
  • Available to work weekends and holidays according to the needs of the business
  • High School diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in an automotive service or maintenance role is preferred but not required.
  • Willingness to complete True Brand training and certification

Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist Guests while addressing their service needs to ensure a high level of Guest satisfaction.
  • Perform oil and filter changes on vehicles according to manufacturer specifications on a variety of vehicles.
  • Complete vehicle inspections in accordance with established procedures.
  • Communicate with Pit Technicians and management during services to ensure alignment & safety.
  • Attend meetings/classes to maintain technical competencies.
  • Guide Guests regarding vehicle maintenance, potential issues; offer vehicle services.
  • Inspect and refill vehicle fluids such as transmission, brake, coolant, and power steering fluids.
  • Perform tire rotation, replace air filters, and inspect vehicle belts and hoses.
  • Check and maintain tire pressure, battery condition, and other vehicle components as needed.
  • Perform general vehicle maintenance and cleaning tasks.
  • Ensure that tools and equipment are maintained in good working order.
  • Maintain accurate service records for all work performed.
  • Adhere to all safety standards and Company procedures during service operations.
  • Assist Guests with basic automotive inquiries and provide recommendations for further services when necessary.
