About The Position

Pinnacle Sales Company dba Jiffy Lube is seeking dedicated Quick Lube Technicians to join their team, providing top-notch service to customers. As a Lube Technician, you will learn to perform oil changes, ensuring all safety standards are met. This includes draining the engine, replacing the oil filter, and filling the engine with the correct weight and volume of oil. You will also be responsible for making management aware of any additional repairs needed while providing excellent customer service and maintaining a clean and safe work area. The company operates 4 Jiffy Lubes and 5 Jiffy Lube MultiCare locations (tires, brakes, mechanical repairs) within the Knoxville, Clinton, Alcoa, and Maryville areas. They are looking for individuals who enjoy working on cars and/or interacting with customers, and they will provide training to perform all services ranging from Oil Changes to Transmission Services and everything in between.

Requirements

Physical dexterity to perform tasks that may require bending, reaching, stretching, and lifting.
Standing for large periods of time.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Good communication skills.
Positive attitude.
Current Driver’s License.
Must be able to pass a drug test.

Responsibilities

Review work orders and perform work carefully.
Maintain a well-organized workspace, ensuring tools and equipment are kept clean and in good working condition.
Adhere to all safety procedures.
Assist in other duties as required.
Cleaning shop or office area.
Assisting customers.
Cleaning cars.
Perform oil changes assuring that all safety standards are met.
Draining the engine and replacing the oil filter and filling the engine with the correct weight and volume of oil.
Making management aware of any additional repairs needed while providing excellent customer service.
Keeping a clean and safe work area.
