About The Position

This position is for a Plant Operator II whose responsibilities include: ensuring the Engineering power plant operates in a safe and reliable manner in accordance with accreditation standards, federal, state, and local regulations organizational and departmental policies and procedures. This position reports to the Plant and Engineering Supervisor.

Requirements

• Educational Level equivalent to completion of high school preferred.
• Valid Class C driver’s License required.
• Intermediate skills in use of power tools and application of finish materials, i.e., paint, vwc, vct, sheet vinyl, etc.
• Two years experience in basic maintenance of boilers, pumps, air compressors, and HVAC systems, required.
• Scheduling: Monday - Friday (Days); (On-call required including weekends)

Nice To Haves

• Some technical or vocational training preferred.
• HVAC certified preferred.
