Requirements

  • Must be able to communicate in English, Spanish is a plus.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Tribal Gaming License.
  • Must have at least 2 years of experience as a slot attendant with Miccosukee Casino & Resort.
  • Adheres to all aspects of the Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Program and its regulations including, but not limited to, Title 31 Cash Transactions, Suspicious Activity Reporting and Customer Identification requirements.
  • Oversees and maintains integrity of Slot floor activity.
  • Ensures adherence to Casino policies and procedures.
  • Checks Slot machines to determine if there is fraudulent activity.
  • Ensures application of federal currency reporting requirements for counterfeit currency.
  • Assumes administrative responsibility in the absence of the LTC Shift Manager.
  • Performance in accordance with the organization’s policies, procedures and applicable laws.
  • Addresses complaints and resolving customer problems.
  • Every staff member is expected to adhere to the handbook; they are also expected to work collectively to support all the teams with which they have contact in achieving the Enterprise’s objectives.
  • Any other duty as required commensurate with the position, department, organization, or by Director.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
  • Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds, and have the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, and kneel.
  • Work with Supervisor(s) to formulate training programs.
  • Ensure Slot Cashiers are competent in interacting with guests.
  • Ensure Slot Cashiers questions and complaints are properly addressed.
  • Be proficient in all Slot Procedures and look for opportunities to improve the team’s job knowledge and performance.
  • Maintain proficiency in computer skills.
  • Inventory supplies and update Slot Supervisor/Manager when supplies need to be ordered.
  • Working knowledge PC skills including MS Word and Excel.
  • Must be able to work with others, communicate well, receive direction, and provide feedback when needed to achieve department goals and objectives.
  • Must maintain a positive attitude toward work and interface with guests in a congenial and polite manner.
  • Must be able to address stressful situations with clients with dignity and the utmost tact and politeness.
  • Must be familiar with OASIS slot player tracking system.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to the Miccosukee Service Expectations and ensure team compliance.
  • Excellent guest service and people skills to communicate with all levels of Team Members and guests.
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and direct Slot Attendants.
  • Must have extremely outgoing personality and caring attitude.
  • Upon request, demonstrates how to operate a video machine or answers any general questions.
  • Maintains slot floor clean and free of debris.
  • Adhere to all aspects of the Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Program and its regulations, Title 31 Cash Transactions, Suspicious Activity Reporting and Customer Identification requirements.
  • Members are expected to conduct and carry themselves in a professional manner at all times and to observe the Company’s standards, work requirements and rules of conduct.
  • Support the F&B operation, selling of drinks including collection of payment.
  • Consistent and regular attendance is an essential function of this job.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
