Raytheon is seeking a highly motivated candidate to serve as a Manager in the Lower Tier Air and Missile Defense Sensor (LTAMDS) Sub-Strategic Business Unit (SSBU) Program Office with Risk & Opportunity (R&O) management responsibilities. You will work closely with the Program Manager, Chief Engineer, and cross-functional Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to drive best in class performance by identifying and tracking risks and opportunities to enable predictable performance on contracts.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and 8 years of relevant experience, OR an Advanced Degree and 5 years of experience
  • Leadership experience
  • Experience with Risk & Opportunity Management
  • Experience balancing technical, cost, and schedule on a program

Nice To Haves

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Project) and common program management tools / systems (PMX, Project, Risk Register, etc.)
  • Prior experience supporting development, production, or sustainment programs
  • Experience with various types of contracts (e.g., Cost Plus, Firm Fixed Price, Production, and Development)
  • Professional experience in program or project management and/or as an IPT lead
  • Experience with EVMS and IMP/IMS development

Responsibilities

  • Develop program-enhancing partnerships across Integrated Product Teams (IPT), Cross Business Teams (CBT) (e.g., Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain), Finance, and all other support functions on the Program
  • Drive effective R&O management processes, best practices, and compliance
  • Facilitate the Program Risk and Opportunity Management Board (ROMB) cadence
  • Create and analyze program level R&O metrics
  • Support program start up process with R&O related workshops
  • Ensure program IMS adequately reflects R&O mitigation/capture plans
  • Review and reconcile EAC R&O status with register data
  • Serve as subject matter expert for Risk Management with the customer
  • Expected to support domestic travel as needed
