About The Position

NeuLife Rehabilitation of Florida is a leading post-acute rehabilitation and residential care provider specializing in individualized care for persons with Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), spinal cord injuries, and complex neurological conditions. Position Summary We are seeking a CNA Manager to lead, mentor, and support our Certified Nursing Assistant team. The CNA Manager is responsible for ensuring high-quality patient care, supervising direct care staff (CNAs), managing schedules, training new hires, and promoting best practices in patient support and safety. This role reports to the Director of Nursing or Residential Director and plays a key role in driving excellence in patient-centered care.

Requirements

  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) License required in the State of Florida.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and mentor staff effectively.
  • Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care and team leadership.

Nice To Haves

  • Proven leadership or supervisory experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and Supervise CNAs: Oversee daily operations of the CNA team, including scheduling, attendance, performance, and accountability.
  • Staff Development: Provide orientation, training, and ongoing coaching to CNA staff; ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and standards of care.
  • Quality Assurance: Monitor care delivery, validate documentation, and ensure adherence to clinical and safety protocols.
  • Patient Care Support: Step in as needed to assist with patient care, activities of daily living (ADLs), observations, and reporting changes in condition.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Work closely with nursing leadership, interdisciplinary teams, families, and other staff to support coordinated care.
  • Problem Solving: Address staffing challenges, conflicts, and patient issues professionally and proactively.
