About The Position

The position is for a Special Education professional within the Department of Special Education. The role involves working with students who have special needs, providing tailored educational support and interventions to help them succeed academically and socially. The candidate will collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and ensure compliance with educational regulations.

Requirements

  • Valid teaching certification in Special Education.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to provide appropriate accommodations and modifications.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust educational strategies as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student performance and needs.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and strategies.
