About The Position

The Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (LPTA) provides essential physical therapy services as outlined in the care plan developed by the supervising physical therapist. This role is crucial in delivering patient-centered care, ensuring that treatment aligns with individual patient needs and physician orders. The LPTA is responsible for assisting in patient assessments, implementing treatment programs, documenting progress, and educating patients and their families about their care.

Requirements

  • Current Texas license or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
  • Current CPR certification required.
  • Associate degree in Physical Therapy or completion of an APTA accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
