About The Position
BAYADA Home Health Care is a non-profit organization celebrating 50 years, offering a stable and supportive culture for Licensed Practical Nurses. This position focuses on private duty skilled nursing, where LPNs provide one-to-one care for clients in their homes. Nurses work full shifts (8, 10, or 12 hours) with local clients, ensuring short commutes. The role involves caring for clients with various diagnoses such as TBI, SCI, COPD, Stroke, Dementia/Alzheimer's, Premature Birth, Cancer, and surgery recovery. BAYADA supports its nurses with 24/7 managerial assistance, a compliance hotline, weekly paychecks, and flexible scheduling options.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by school transcript or diploma
- A current nursing license in good standing in the state SER-ENC-RX
Responsibilities
- Work full shifts (8's, 10's, or 12's)
- Provide one-to-one client care in the home
- Work with local clients nearby with short commutes
- Care for clients with common diagnoses such as TBI, SCI, COPD, Stroke, Dementia/Alzheimer's, Premature Birth, Cancer, and surgery recovery
