About The Position
Job Summary: Prepares patients and equipment for exams/procedures. Maintains exam rooms and clinical areas. Returns phone messages to patients, pharmacies, etc. Collects and prepares lab specimens/lab requisitions accurately. Schedules and obtains authorizations for referrals and/or procedures. Maintains patient confidentiality.
Requirements
- Licensed Practical Nurse with current license to practice in NC or SC (dependent on the practice#s location) required.
- Valid LPN licensure required.
- BLS required.
Nice To Haves
- Previous medical office experience preferred.
