About The Position

The Experienced LPN/LVN provides direct and indirect patient care services within the scope of nursing practice as defined by state requirements. Working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) and in collaboration with the healthcare team, the LPN/LVN ensures patient safety, comfort, and quality care, enhancing the overall patient experience across various clinical units. Requirements

  • Current and valid LPN/LVN state license.
  • Current BLS (AHA or ARC) certificate and maintain current.
  • Minimum of one year acute care and telemetry experience.
  • IV Certification.
  • Current ACLS (AHA or ARC)certificate and maintain current.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver safe, high-quality direct and indirect patient care in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Assist in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as allowed by state regulations and facility guidelines.
  • Monitor patient condition and report changes promptly to the RN or healthcare team.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support patient-centered care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and interventions.
  • Promote a safe, therapeutic, and compassionate environment for patients and their families.
  • Educate patients and families regarding care plans, treatments, and health maintenance.
  • Adhere to infection control standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
