About The Position

8 Main is a medical-surgical nursing floor with telemetry monitoring. The patient population is so diverse itmakes 8 Main a great place to learn and grow. Job Summary: Under the direction of a Clinical Nurse, provides direct patient care by administering medications and specific treatments to patients within the framework of the established standards, contributes to the assessment of the health and status of patients.

Requirements

• Minimum education of a High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Completion of a state approved Technical School of Licensed Practical Nursing
• Must hold a current license with the State Board of Licensed Practical Nursing.
• Current CPR.
• Computer knowledge and skills is required.

Nice To Haves

• Twelve months or more of medical-surgical background and physician office nursing experience is preferred.
