About The Position

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) — Physician Clinics Bring steady, compassionate care to every visit. As a Clinic LPN at NARMC, you’ll room patients, give immunizations and medications, support minor procedures, and keep the day moving smoothly for providers and patients alike. Job Summary Provide clinic-based patient care under RN/provider direction: rooming, vitals, injections/immunizations, medication tasks, patient education, and support for minor procedures; complete accurate EHR documentation and contribute to efficient clinic flow.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an approved PN program; Arkansas LPN license.
  • BLS certification; ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

  • Clinic experience; comfort with EKG/PFT workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Room patients; obtain histories and vital signs; prep for exams and procedures.
  • Administer injections/medications; dress simple wounds; remove staples/sutures per competency.
  • Coordinate referrals, pharmacy calls, and prior authorizations; manage medication refills per protocol.
  • Assist with EKG and spirometry/PFT per policy; maintain clean, stocked rooms.
  • Provide patient education and post-visit follow-up calls; document thoroughly in the electronic health record (EHR).
