Requirements

  • Valid and current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Florida
  • Prior experience in a long-term care or assisted living setting preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and safety standards
  • Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and discretion

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with physician orders and established care plans
  • Monitor residents’ health status and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate team members
  • Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
  • Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and mobility support
  • Document resident care activities thoroughly and accurately in electronic health records
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and update individualized care plans
  • Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and facility policies
  • Educate residents and their families about health conditions and care procedures
