About The Position
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will follow the plan of care as directed by the Registered Nurse. This role involves communicating effectively with patients, team members, and management, and applying critical thinking skills in patient care delivery. The LPN will develop and maintain human care relationships, integrating the influence of the human experience of health, illness, and/or healing. Responsibilities also include managing self and resources effectively, applying leadership skills appropriately, incorporating teaching in care delivery, demonstrating competence in health promotion, and applying knowledge integration skills for the patient populations served within the Inpatient Care Unit.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure in Vermont in good standing
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong critical thinking skills
- Experience with electronic medical record systems.
Nice To Haves
- One (1) year of inpatient experience (preferred)
