About The Position
The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides direct and indirect patient care services, requiring clinical competence within their scope of practice and in accordance with state requirements. Working in collaboration with the healthcare team and under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), the LVN/LPN is responsible for maintaining safety, providing patient comfort and care, and improving the overall patient experience in the MST setting within the Emergency Services Department at Prime Healthcare Olympia Fields Hospital in Olympia Fields, IL.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)
- IV certification within 90 days of hire date
- Blood Withdrawal (BW) certification within 90 days of hire date
- Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current
