About The Position
Located on campus at Atrium Health Union in Monroe, NC, Atrium HealthJesse Helms Nursing Center is an award-winning nursing and rehabilitation facility with 70 beds. We provide short term rehab, long term care, palliative care, and hospice care and are committed to enhancing the quality of life and well-being of all our residents. LPN teammates at this facility will assist with medication administration, assessments, wound care, lab draws, and IV starts. The CC RN will assist in maintaining a safe work environment and performs all related job responsibilities in a safe manner. The CC RN maintains clinical and professional competency as appropriate to the age, culture, developmental stages, and special needs of the patients served.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
- BLS required per policy guidelines.
- Current RN license or temporary license as a Registered Nurse Petitioner in the state in which you work and reside or; if declaring a National License Compact (NLC) state as your primary state of residency, meet the licensure requirements in your home state; or for Non-National License Compact states, current RN license or temporary license as a Registered Nurse Petitioner required in the state where the RN works.
- Additional education, training, certifications, or experience may be required within the department by the nurse leader.

Responsibilities
- Collects data pertinent to the healthcare consumer's health or the situation.
- Analyzes the assessment data to determine the diagnoses or issues.
- Identifies expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the healthcare consumer or the situation.
- Develops a plan that prescribes strategies and alternatives to attain expected outcomes.
- Implements the identified plan, coordinates care delivery, and employs strategies to promote health and a safe environment.
- Evaluates progress toward attainment of outcomes.
- Delegates elements of care to appropriate healthcare workers in accordance with any applicable legal or policy parameters or principles.
