About The Position

Bowen Gastro ,dba Mid-South Gastroenterology Group, is currently seeking a Full-Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with IV certification to join our dynamic and patient-focused team. We’re looking for someone who is energetic, dependable, and a team player—someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and excels with minimal supervision. Position Overview Under the direct supervision of the Director of Nursing (DON), the LPN will be responsible for starting IVs, obtaining vital signs, and supporting high-quality patient care in accordance with established policies and procedures. This role requires critical thinking, initiative, and a strong commitment to patient safety and satisfaction. The ideal candidate will also possess clinical skills applicable to patient care in the Procedure/Endoscopy Room, and have experience in a GI Lab setting—either inpatient or ambulatory surgery center. Requirements

  • Current LPN license in the state (unrestricted)
  • IV certification or advanced IV insertion skills
  • BLS certification
  • Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in Med-Surg, ER, or ICU
  • Longevity in past roles

Nice To Haves

  • GI or Ambulatory Surgery experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Initiate IVs and record vital signs
  • Deliver patient-centered care in the Procedure and Endoscopy Rooms
  • Collaborate closely with the DON and clinical staff
  • Follow all safety protocols and organizational policies
  • Maintain accurate documentation and assist with other duties as assigned
