About The Position
Brightstar Care of Midtown Raleigh is searching for an LPN with 1:1 experience caring for students with special care needs within the school environment. In this role you will ride the bus with the child. Care hours are 7:30 to 3:30 plus possible bus travel time. If you have a passion for exceptional children, we'd like to speak with you and share more details about this opportunity.
Responsibilities
- Experience caring for exceptional students
- Administer and manage medication
- Provide daily supportive care
- Document care using Agency and Durham Public School's guidelines
- Participate in the educational program within the classroom and school
- Accompany and monitor the student at all times during the school day and during transportation tow and from school
