Requirements

Valid and current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of practice
Proven experience in a clinical or outpatient setting preferred
Strong knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and safety protocols
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and compassion
Must be able to work in a safety-sensitive environment, adhering to all safety policies and procedures

Responsibilities

Assist physicians and other healthcare professionals with patient examinations and procedures
Administer medications and injections as prescribed
Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical histories
Provide patient education and health counseling
Prepare examination rooms and ensure cleanliness and safety standards are maintained
Document patient information accurately in electronic health records
Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff
Respond promptly to patient needs and concerns
