About The Position

The LPN in the Wellness for Life Department will play a crucial role in the provision of clinical tasks at sites within the community. Under supervision of the Director of Employer and Consumer Health, this position involves working the Mobile Care Clinic events within the health system’s market and remaining with the clinic throughout the duration providing clinical services, offering educational support on specific disease processes, and coordinating necessary follow-up appointments. The nurse will work collaboratively with the Wellness for Life team, demonstrating leadership and participating in community nursing education and wellness initiatives.

Requirements

• Active and unrestricted Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Louisiana.
• Ability to adapt to changing demands and work collaboratively within a team.
• This position requires the ability to operate a vehicle as a job-related function; candidates must have a valid driver’s license and a motor vehicle record acceptable under company and insurance guidelines.

Nice To Haves

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience preferred, preferably in wellness or community health is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of lab result interpretation and disease processes preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated leadership skills in patient education and community outreach.
