About The Position
We’re hiring six (6) Licensed Practical Nurses to provide services on site to beneficiaries of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) located within the VA Palo Alto Health Care System (VAPAHCS), initially at the Menlo Park facility, with the possibility of shifts being added at the Palo Alto location. Where: VAPAHCS Menlo Park: 795 Willow St. Menlo Park, CA 94025 VAPAHCS Palo Alto: 3801 Miranda Avenue, Palo Alto, CA 94304-1207 About the Facility The VA Palo Alto Healthcare System is comprised of three main facilities and four clinics: The Palo Alto VA Medical Center and Palo Alto VA Medical Center – Menlo Park are the main facilities in this contract. The hospitals are located about 8 miles apart. The Menlo Park campus provides primary care and specialty health services, including addiction and substance abuse treatment, mental health care, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), physical and occupational therapy, suicide prevention, and more. Requirements
- Must possess a current, valid, unrestricted license in any state, DC, PR, or a Territory of the U.S
- BLS
- 2 years of recent experience
- Geriatric experience
- Must be able to pass a background check
