About The Position
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Southeast Healthplex plays a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care within a multidisciplinary healthcare team. This position is responsible for providing direct nursing care to patients, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being throughout their treatment journey. The LPN will collaborate closely with providers and other healthcare professionals to implement care plans and monitor patient progress. Requirements
- Current and valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Oklahoma.
- Completion of an accredited practical nursing program.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Demonstrated clinical experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a hospital or outpatient clinic.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment such as a hospital, clinic, or long-term care facility.
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and healthcare documentation software.
- Strong interpersonal skills with experience in patient education and counseling.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine patient assessments, including vital signs, symptom documentation, and laboratory tests, to identify changes in condition.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop, implement, and update individualized care plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations and facility policies.
- Ensure adherence to infection control protocols and safety standards within the clinical setting.
